Laurent BELLANTE

ATEA diploma in Jazz and Contemporary Music Piano, composer-arranger-performer, multi-instrumentalist (piano, drums, bass).

After spending many years as a teacher and coordinator of a Jazz Musiques Actuelles department in Essonne, Laurent Bellante joins the Rainier III Academy of Music in September 2021.

After training in classical piano and diving into jazz at the age of 17, he has collaborated (composition-arrangements-accompaniments) with artists from a wide range of musical aesthetics:

M Passy, Poetics Lovers, Orchestre National de Barbès, DJ Abdel ( Hip Hop ) , Touré Kunda, Isaac Ismael, Ismael Lo, Salif Keita ( African music ) , Alvaro Bello ( Jazz , World music ).

His experience on stage and in the studio influences his pedagogy, which is based on the acquisition of solid technical, harmonic, rhythmic and improvisational foundations.

This foundation must enable students to achieve what is fundamental for Laurent Bellante: collective music, sharing in the form of workshops, and quality stage performance.

Passing on his passion for music and the pleasure of sharing it to all his students remains his primary objective.
