Michel MUGOT

Michel MUGOT began playing the bassoon at the age of 10 in Troyes en Champagne and obtained his Baccalauréat F11 in Reims, then went on to perfect his skills in Paris with Maurice ALLARD before being admitted to the CNSM de Lyon in Jean-Pierre Laroque's class.

At the age of 23, he joined the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra as second soloist. Holder of the Certificat d'Aptitude de Professeur de Basson, he created the bassoon class at the Académie Rainier III, where he has taught since 1987.
